3. Change who is going
When you need this: the person on a job called in sick, or is tied up on a break. You hand the job to someone else. Then, when they head out, you mark it dispatched so everyone can see it is underway.
Steps
On the left side of the screen, click Work Orders, then click Schedule & Dispatch.
Scroll down to Schedule Timeline. Find the job and click Reassign.
A window named Reassign to lists your staff. The person on the job now is marked assigned now. Each name shows how many open jobs they have. Click the new person.
Click Reassign.
When the person heads out, click Dispatch on the same row. The job turns to In Progress.
Made a mistake? Click Undo on the green message that appears, or open Show me how at the top and pick Undo a mistake.
You are done when
The row shows the new name. After Dispatch, the status reads In Progress.
If something looks different
A different day, not a different person. Click Reschedule on the row. It opens the same window as lesson 2.
There is no Dispatch button. Your account may not have permission to dispatch. Ask your administrator.
You want to see the jobs on a map. Click Map View above the timeline.
The page says Advanced Feature. Scheduling is turned off for your utility. Ask your administrator to turn it on. There is no extra charge.
